Ageing Well is an eight-week experiential workshop series given by Jaqueline Benndorf and Adrian Lumsden of ThinkingWellness.
You will learn tools that support you in the following areas:
| What is a happier life? | Stress reduction |
| Neuroplasticity | Conflict resolution |
| Retirement Anxiety | Laughter Wellness |
| Happiness habits & optimism | Survival strategies & skills |
| Mindfulness & self-awareness | Asking for help |
| The importance of gratitude | Good decision making |
| The 100% Ask | Looking forward |
| Saying No gracefully | Building strengths for safety, satisfaction & connection |
Each day consists of:
| 10.00–11.00 | First session |
| 11.00–11.30 | Coffee and tea break |
| 11.30–12.30 | Second session |
| 12.30–1.30 | Working lunch |
The workshop uses an experiential approach. You will have an opportunity to learn new tools and different approaches in a safe environment where nobody gets to be wrong. The exercises are designed to allow you to fully explore and experience the tools and to consolidate them into your repertoire.
The working lunch is an essential part of the workshop. We will spend 10-15 minutes settling down to have lunch and then use the shared time to consolidate the morning’s work and debrief.
The cost of the whole series is $295 and the number of participants is limited to 20.
You can download the Ageing Well Brochure in PDF format.
