Thinking Wellness grew out of Adrian Lumsden and Jaqueline Benndorf’s passion for living a life with meaning, contentment and satisfaction. Like all of us, they have both experienced many challenging moments, and have found ways to emerge with a stronger sense of self and a more inspired way of living.

Many of us spend time looking outside ourselves for the answers to life’s challenges. The great news is that, within us, we already have everything we need to bring about this transformation – our brains and our minds!

Applying the modern science of neuroplasticity (Neuroplasticity: The 10 Fundamentals Of Rewiring Your Brain) we can literaly rewire our brain for satisfaction and happiness.

We have found, discovered, learned, borrowed, developed and created a range of tools that is capable of supporting you in making deep changes to your life. We have developed this Ageing Well workshop to share some of these with you. Although they can be used by people of any age, this workshop series is aimed particularly at 60-plus year-old people wanting to live a satisfying, complete life to the fullest.

Tools for leading a happier life

Can you change your life for the better, be more contented and at ease, have better relationships with both yourself and those around you, stop being haunted by unpleasant and unfortunate experiences from the past? Yes you can!

In the Ageing Well workshop series we teach you a set of proven tools that you can use to wire your brain for happiness and, potentially, make profound changes in your life. Being well, having good relationships, resolving challenges can all become habits – good habits.

The modern understanding of neuroplasticity tells us that we can change the wiring in our brains and create, for ourselves, a happier life. The great news is that we already have everything that we need to bring about this change ~ our minds and our brains. Our workshop aims to teach you how.

The workshop takes place over eight three and a half hour sessions, each Friday, from the end of July to mid-September. In each session, Adrian and Jaqueline create and hold a safe space in which you will have the opportunity to learn, explore and use the tools. You will fully experience the difference that they can bring to your life.

While the tools are applicable to all stages of your life, as we get older we face different challenges and large changes in circumstances and lifestyles. In the same way as we have to learn how to be parents for the first time, we also have to learn how to grow older in a way that has meaning and offers us a fulfilling life, no matter what our personal circumstances are. There is always a better way of experiencing our lives, we just have to train our brains and minds to know how. We have tailored this workshop series particularly to meeting those challenges.
